Biography
Mortis Cruentus are Black/Death metal band from Alicante (Spain). They have been active since 2003, with one of the longest careers among all metal bands from their area.
In 2007, their first demo was recorded, and in 2009 the band released their first LP, Agony as Doom, touring and making live shows around the country in the following years, sharing stage with bands like Napalm Death, Sacred Steel or Legion of the Damned.
After a long period of composition, the band made their last recording in 2013, an EP called Winter Holocaust.
Having overcome a lot of obstacles, they contacted Jabo (vocals in the Spanish metal band Nethertale) to write the lyrics and take command of the vocals lines, in the recording of the new studio album. Likewise, the bassist Sergio Pastor (Bass on the Spanish metal band Yuugen) recorded the bass. After a long pre-production period, the band recorded 10 new demonic songs. At the moment, the Brand new second LP of the band is released, under the name of Hellthrone, in digital and physical platforms 1st November 2017. The gates of Hell are now open!
